Shampoo unit is a broad buying term. A compact rear-wash chair, a cabinet-style wash unit and a full-length head spa bed support different services and room layouts. Begin by listing whether the salon will provide routine shampooing, longer scalp-care sessions, reclining treatments or a mixed menu. The service duration and client position should determine the product type before color or styling is considered.

Record the room dimensions, doorways, fixed water and drainage points, electrical access, storage, technician position and client walkway. For a backwash chair, allow room behind the basin and beside the seat. For a full-length bed, include the complete platform, approach path and space required for the operator to work around the head area.

Most current B-series dimensions remain pending, so a product image cannot be used as a scale drawing. Request the verified dimensions of every shortlisted SKU before finalizing cabinetry, plumbing or the number of stations. A model can remain under consideration while its measurements are checked, but it should not be approved for a finished floor plan using assumed values.

Routine salon washing usually requires fast entry, comfortable neck support and efficient technician access. Longer scalp-care services may need a different client position and more space for treatment steps. Walk through a complete appointment and note where the operator stands, where towels and tools are placed, and how the client moves into and out of the unit.

Give this information to the local installer before construction is completed.

Keep a written status for each field: confirmed, pending or not applicable. If a supplier has not confirmed the basin material, heating, controls or circulation feature, do not infer it from appearance or category wording. This evidence discipline protects the salon from late layout changes and keeps distributor product descriptions accurate.

Select examples that match the planned service and room rather than adding several visually similar models without a reason.

For each option, record the target room, verified dimensions, visible structure, unresolved configuration questions, preferred color, quantity and destination. If two models cannot yet be distinguished on operational evidence, hold the decision until the missing information is supplied instead of choosing solely from the main image.

The finish should support the salon design and daily cleaning routine. Review visible seams, gaps around the basin area, storage access and the surfaces technicians will touch. Color and private-label requests may be available for selected orders, but every requested option should be tied to a SKU, quantity and written confirmation.

Distributors should also request repeatable product identity, model-level specifications, packing data and current images. A salon may buy one unit for a room, while a distributor needs information that can be maintained across future orders. The same product can require a different approval checklist depending on the buyer’s commercial role.

Send the shortlisted SKU, quantity, destination country and postcode, room plan, service type, preferred finish and project deadline. Add explicit questions for dimensions, basin and connection details, electrical requirements if applicable, included items, packing size, gross weight, lead time and shipping scope.
